Direct Marketing Register according to Section 19 of the Personal Data Act.
Personal data is used in Renor Ltd’s direct advertising, distance selling or other direct marketing, opinion polling, market investigation or other similar corresponding addressed deliveries.
The register includes data in the following categories: Name, title or profession, age or year of birth, gender, mother tongue, address and other contact information, preferred contact methods, direct marketing consent and restriction information, one other piece of identification information concerning the registered person related to marketing and the amendments to that data.
Personal data is collected at marketing events related to different properties and through web page surveys. Personal data can also be collected and updated from the Population Registry, from the restriction register maintained by the Suomen Suoramarkkinointiliitto and from other corresponding registers.
Renor Ltd may disclose personal data according to applicable laws and regulations. Data is not processed or transferred outside of the European Union or the European Economic Area.
The use of the register requires a login provided by the main user of the customer register. The main user also defines the user’s level of the use right. A private password is required to start the application. The use of the register and logins are monitored.
Data is collected to the service’s common databases that are protected with firewalls, passwords and other technical means. These databases are located in locked and guarded premises and only designated persons are allowed to access them. Renor Ltd requires everyone to carry a visible ID card when moving in their premises, and it is not possible to move around without an appropriate access control card.
The registered person has the right, according to Section 26 of the Personal Data Act, to check the data concerning him/her registered to the personal data register. The request for this check must be sent in writing to the following address:
